Zildjian K Constantinople Medium Thin Ride, Low

K Constantinople cymbals provide a dark, warm sound reminiscent of the Zildjian Cymbals made in Turkey in the first half of the 20th Century. Resurfacing in the 50s and 60s, "Old K's" featured in set-ups of bebop era vanguard drummers, such as Elvin Jones. Resurfacing again in the 21st century, K Constantinoples are hand lathed by skilled craftsman, using vintage cutting tools and techniques. To preserve the original tonal qualities of the cymbal, dips and surface impurities are retained, rather than removed like modern finishing processes, creating a truly unique cymbal!

A bolder, more defined stick sound combined with a dry sound with a degree of pleasing overtones and wash creates the distinct sound of this medium ride cymbal.
