Vater Sugar Maple Classics Big Band Nylon Tip Drumsticks

The Classics Maple Big Band Nylon Tip is just under a 5A in the grip with a gradual taper to a smaller sized ball tip that will make your ride cymbal sing with clarity. Our Classics series features a selection of stick profiles and sizes that have formed the core of the drumstick world since the birth of the “trap set”. With this series we're revisiting some of our family history with six classic Boston designs, many pioneered and hand turned by our grandfather Jack Adams at Jack’s Drum Shop during the 1950’s and 60’s, and lathe turned in our family barn for other producers right into the 1980's, before our family officially launched the Vater brand. These models are available in both American Hickory and Sugar Maple. The Hickory version is the right choice for live and harder hitting performance settings, while the Sugar Maple version is perfect for more laid back, subtle playing styles, as well as orchestral and lesson room type settings.
