Mapex's latest realisation of their hybrid shell concept is the Armory Series, fusing birch and maple allows drummers to experience the ultimate tonal expression! The 6ply shells deliver responsive sounds with clear and punchy projection.We have the beautiful Olive Wood Veneers to thank for the stunning lacquered finishes that help the kits stand out on any stage! The Armory kits feature insulated bass drum claws, this protects the hoops from damage, whilst also preventing any rattling or buzzing sounds. Since the SONIClear hardware was such a hit with the Saturn V Series, they have made a return on the Armory Series! The rack toms are supported by the SONIClear Suspension System, this product helps present vibration in the drumheads and shell whilst preventing energy transfer, increasing overall resonance. Another SONIClear feature is the floor tom feet, they provide a stable and supportive base while preserving vibration and preventing energy transfer for increased punch and body.
