The Black Beauty name probably made Ludwig the legendary name it is today. Probably the most imitated snare drums around but never duplicated! A true American Classic snare drum made from a single sheet of brass that becomes seamless and nickel plated. Due to the difficult manufacturing process, only a few Black Beauty snare drums are produced each year. This Ludwig Black Beauty is finished off with a hammered brass shell making this a very much desirable snare drum.
