Istanbul Mehmet X-Ray Turk Series

The X-Ray Random Turk Series by Istanbul Mehmet are a series of cymbals which are aimed towards drummers looking for more unusual cymbals to add to their existing set-up. X-Ray Random cymbals have had the majority of the surface area removed, making them super-light and with undeniable quickness and pace. These particular cymbals were introduced by Istanbul Mehmet at The NAMM Show 2018 earlier this year.

The Istanbul Mehmet 16" X-Ray Random Turk Crash has the ability to decay quickly and smoothly, all the while producing a sharp and trashy attack. If you're looking for fast bursts of sound that are riddled with attack and individuality then these are the cymbals for you! The X-Ray Random Series feature an alternating array of large and medium sized holes along the surface of the cymbals, this allows for an interestingly unique spectrum of sound from this series of cymbals. As always all of the cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet are created using traditional cymbal making techniques and are handcrafted to perfection and this is another stunning example of the high quality that oozes from Istanbul Mehmet cymbals.
